Catch #22 is a patented version of the traditional table catch. This new
model holds itself flat underneath the table top and spare leaves in both
the locked and unlocked position.
Flat to base, even when unlocked – see picture A – D.
The old version always hung loose underneath the table and from spare
leaves when not in use. This could easily cause damage to surfaces and
edges, particulary on tables fitted with folding »butterfly« extension
leaves and even to peoples´ legs and clothing.
